Job Purpose Statement:

To Source, vet analyze and compare project opportunities suited to our upstream chemistry and existent infrastructure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Study overall industry and suggest new areas of growth through rigorous identification research followed by preliminary feasibility.
  • Compare and construct “buy-in” of proposal using free and paid research
  • Business intelligence, research report-based dash-board creation as well as competitor tracking and analysis
  • Creating management info trackers related and circumstantial to Matix’s upstream and downstream
  • Ability to extend “chemical” engineering knowledge into “commercially” viable project opportunities with viable, private sector supply-demand gas.
  • Existent network as well as ability to identify/Interact with “chemical industry” consultants and research agencies
  • Actively seek new opportunities in Agricultural inputs
  • Initiate interaction with potential opportunities across identified markets.
  • Pitch and present with potential partners at industry conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to thoughtfully expand existing partnerships
  • Passion for collaboration and significant experience in relationship-building, and to leverage and convert market knowledge and relationships into business opportunities

Job Requirements

Job Purpose Statement:

Job Purpose Statement:

  • To engage and manage an agency relationship as well as develop, execute and follow through internal and external communication strategies for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contributes in creating a communication plan that fits existent operations as well as builds on proposed growth strategy
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication.
  • Suggests, develops and implements communication strategies that work well across print and social media platforms.
  • Aware of and have been part of the creative and thinking process linked to creation of PR (Public Relations) strategies.
  • Has an eye on relevance and cost aspects related to execution of media plans
  • Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events
  • Manage and maintain the LinkedIn and Instagram profiles of the organization and align it to organizational objectives

    • At least 3 years in an industry role within a PR agency OR At least 5 years of experience within a medium sized corporate

    • If from an agency, then at least an INR20-30 Cr agency with medium to large corporate clients

    • If from an in-house corporate role, then preferably from a government linked, agri or fertiliser / chemical industry background

Job Purpose Statement:

  • To develop creative presentation, data, info-visuals/ audio-visuals for the organization and deliver an effective communication /promotion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must have excellent command of English and Hindi / Bengali (Written and verbal)
  • Must have expert level skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Must have experience working on tools like Canva, Adobe Spark etc.
  • Building templates & short-promotional videos.
  • Strong internet research skill.
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Principal Accountability:

  • To assist Section Head (Process) in performing the Process Engineering related activities for Ammonia Plant.
  • To Monitor Specific Energy consumption of Ammonia plant, Raw Material Specific Consumption & Critical Parameters.
  • Regular catalyst performance monitoring, tracking the trends and highlighting the issues.
  • To identify areas of improvement for reduction of Specific Energy Consumption.
  • To Provide Necessary Technical inputs for execution of “Modification of Change”, Implementation of New Projects for Ammonia .
  • Coordinate for External Energy Audits in Ammonia Plant.
  • To consolidate and provide Technical Data to Statutory agencies as per the requirement.
  • Conducting Incident investigations in Ammonia plant
  • To support new project activities
  • To monitor plant load, S/C and Air to Gas ratios
  • To perform process calculations as required

Key Performance Areas:

  • Energy Monitoring:
    • Analyse variance in daily & monthly Specific Energy Consumption.
    • Coordinate effectively with Process Plants, Utilities & Internal gas coordinator to minimize unproductive Energy Consumption.
    • Evaluate & optimize steam & power network.
    • Coordinate for Internal & External Energy Audits.
  • Plant Performance Monitoring:
    • Calculate, Review and report the performance of Compressors, Turbines, Boilers, Gas Turbines, Static & Rotating Equipment.
    • Asses Catalysts performance and project the remaining life.
    • Carryout Simulations to troubleshoot and identify bottlenecks.
    • Participating in HAZOP & Risk Assessment Study.
    • Monitoring stack parameters and suggesting corrective actions
    • Monitoring gas compositions for all equipment’s and suggesting parameters optimization
  • Production Declaration:
    • Review the various production declaration factors and conduct N2 and H2 balance etc
  • Technical Data Submission to Statutory Agencies:
    • To provide Technical Data & Details to Govt. agencies and Statutory agencies as per the requirement stipulated from time to time.
  • Plant Modification:
    • Review the modification proposed by vendors or in-house personnel, perform cost benefit analysis / payback calculation, Hazop study etc. updating of P & ID.
    • Ensure Commissioning of the proposed system and commissioning of the system after conducting PSSR.
    • Technical Support to Other Departments:
    • Providing required technical support to Other departments as per the requirement and as per the instructions of SH (Process)

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good Chemical Engineering knowledge to perform Process Calculations
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Hazard Identification and HAZOP Study Skills.
  • Computational & Simulation knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plant Performance Monitoring and Preparation of MIS Reports
    • To prepare Daily Production report, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly MIS reports.
    • Updating of down time records and calculating unproductive Energy for Plant outages.
    • Monitoring Complex Actual Production & Energy Performance.
    • To prepare other plant reports as per requirement
  • Technical Data Submission to FICC, FAI, DOF & Other Statutory Agencies:
    • To prepare and submit Technical Data & Details to Government and Statutory agencies as per the requirement stipulated from time to time.
    • To prepare and submit TOP (Technical Operating Data) and other reports to FICC.
    • Awareness & Familiarity towards statutory compliances such as “PAT”, “RPO”.
    • Compilation of Plant data for Awards & Statutory requirements.
    • Preparation of Raw Material & urea Production Stock Registers.
  • SAP PP Module Monitoring
    • Creation of Process Orders.
    • Confirmation of Process Orders i.e., entering Raw Material Consumption and Updation of Production data
    • Updating required plant operating data for FICC Costing module.
    • Providing required inputs to Plant Finance & corporate FICC departments for preparation of Cost Escalation documents
    • To prepare and submit all required documents to Government Agencies such as FICC, DoF, FAI etc.
  • Natural Gas Coordination
    • To Coordinate with Natural Gas Suppliers, Transporters and Plants to ensure adherence to Contracts and ensure seamless Natural Gas Supply to Process Plants without any penal implications.
  • Management Systems Compliance
    • To ensure completeness of all Management Systems related documents and Statutory records such as Stock Register, Raw Material register etc.

Technical Skills and Knowledge needed for the job

  • To monitor final Urea Product quality parameters and to suggest necessary improvement
  • To monitor Prill tower and stacks emissions and report in case of any deviations
  • To calculate N/C and H/C ratios and monitor Urea Conversion
  • To perform process calculations as required.

    • Conduct bagging tests to check the production factors.

    • To provide Technical Data & Details to Govt. agencies and Statutory agencies as per the requirement stipulated from time to time.
  • Plant Modification:
    • Review the modification proposed by vendors or in-house personnel, perform cost benefit analysis / payback calculation, Hazop study etc. Updating of P & ID.
